Jay's Photo Album Experiment
This is the 28th day I have been here (one moon cycle). And this is the latest I have waken up (I crawled out of bed after lunch... I crawled into bed sometime after dawn). Even still, I had more than enough time to revisit St. Peter's (I wanted to get some Vatican shopping done). Then at night, I went to the program's farewell dinner (yes, the program goes on for another 11 days, or 10 for me).
It's hard to believe I've only been here for weeks. I mean that in more ways than one. It only seems like a few days ago that I got into town and dragged my tired body to Pensione Mary outside Termini, but it also seems like I have seen so many things and gone so many places that I must have been here longer than a month. However, the one thing I cannot seem to remember is much about my classes. In other words, I had better get to organizing some notes and a system to get through these upcoming exams.
I basically have nine full days left in Rome (I leave the morning of July 8). I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and getting started with my internship at the district attorney's office, but it's a mixed feeling. There's more to do here, but I think there will always be more to do. I'm not looking forward to the plane ride. I'm still not comfortable with flying.
