Jay's Photo Album Experiment
This afternoon the cleaning lady showed up while I was listening to MP3s on my computer, more specifially while CSN's Suite: Judy blue eyes was playing. She asked me who was singing and I told her Crosby, Stills, and Nash. She didn't recognize them, but said she really liked the music and asked if I could make her a CD of their stuff (she also suggested she would do a really good job cleaning up the apartment on Monday). I said I'd be happy to get her a copy of my CSN CD. Although I refrained from bringing up the so "Y" aspect of CSN&(sometimes)Y. Hmmm... maybe she'd like Neil Young's Harvest album. I'm pretty sure I brought that, though I don't think her small English abilities and my nearly non-existent Italian prowess will allow a meaningful explanation for the CSN&Y dynamic.
In other news, it looked like I wouldn't wind up with any pictures today (I basically did a bunch of shopping and being lazy today). But as we were reading for bed fireworks began going off on the hill to the side of the residence. I think only one or two of the pictures I shot are actually interesting, and the short video I took looks like a bad convention of Pong paddles.
But it was my last Saturday in Rome, and next Saturday I should be at home... seeing exactly how hot my place is after being shut up for the first six weeks of summer weather.
