Day 6 - Back to School
One I forgot earlier and one at night.

Books and lectures:

Classes began this morning, as well as setting up computers to use the wireless at school. Sadly, I did not get to do any sightseeing today. I was on campus all day and had to do a lot of reading at night. We cooked in tonight, steak and bread with fresh mozzarella and garlic. And I had a glass of wine with the meal. While I normally do not like wine, this was actually pretty good. It says "Frascati" on the bottle; I will have to find out what that means.

Wine, by the way, is relatively cheap here. The cheapest bottles at the local grocery go for 2 euro, and from what I understand from some of my friends those wines are superior to what you'd grab in the state store for $15. One wine that I was told can be bought for close to $30 is sold at the grocery for about 3 euro. So, if you are a wine lover, you'd appreciate the prices around here. I was told the 17 euro offering at the store (easily the most expensive) is from a very good year and would probably cost ridiculously more in the states.

I am sorry that there are not more pictures to put up for this day. The first is of the Victor Emanuel II monument (quite a nice view of it) that I somehow neglected to include with the other pictures of that monument. The other is the only one of a series that I thought came out well. It is of the road next to my balcony at night.
